Some speakers and headphones can store pairing for multiple devices (this is different from multipoint when they connect simultaneously to devices). However, there is a limit to the number of devices' pairing information that they can store. If you're having trouble pairing headphones or a speaker that have been paired to many devices in the past, you may need to reset your headphones or speakers to clear out all of the pairings so you can start fresh. For instructions from the manufacturer on your specific model, search: reset [device name].
Your photos and videos are already available in Google Photos. But you can restore the rest of the data that you backed up while you set up your new phone for the first time or after a factory reset. At setup, to restore your data, follow the on-screen steps.

My son dunked my Evo 4G LTE under a foot of water. It was still on, so I powered it off by holding the top button down, then dried it out in rice for several days. Plugged it in, powered it on - amazing! Looked great! Had to leave for work, by the time I arrived an hour later the phone was a brick - no power, no reset holding the top button (with or without volume up or down), when connected to a computer via USB it neither registers no demonstrates any sign of power.
i just-july 13, 2016, had this happen with my LG cell phone......i took it apart, removed ththe resultsk and , wala, it works just fine, thank you. solution: the magnetic field needed resetting ...my body electro magnetic field reset the chip's electromagnetic field. try it . you could lovvvvve ner gone),.....so, i took that outta the phone, thinking i'll just swipre across these metallic little pieces to remove any moisture, did that, put it bac white plastic chip ( square but for a little piece of a coree cover , and the battery and left all to dry out. the next day, yesterday,- after charging it all night, i restarted it, but there was zilch, nada, nothing...after looking online and using what would it take to get this running again, all my data back....i thought well, maybe there's a little moisture under that
This is the second time my girlfriends phone has had the bootloop problem. So here is the fix to boot it up and get a chanch to save your important data before factory reset! Take out the battery then reinsert it but dont turn it on! Put your phone in the freeze for about 15 min. Then take it out and it should boot up normally. If not, put it back in the freezer just a bit longer, like maybe 5 min then try rebooting it again. Now if the phone gets warm enough it will go back into its bootlooping problem so move the phone from the freezer to the refrigerator along with a usb cable sticking out when you close the door. Hook up your usb cable and start transferring your data. After your data is saved, perform the factoy reset by taking out the battery, reinserting the batery, hold the volume down button then hold the power button. As soon as you see the LG logo release the power button then quickly hold it again. Shortly you will see the factory reset option. Select yes to clear all its memory and get you phone working in its factory settings. Here is the article that gave me the solution the first time this happened -developers.com/tmobile-...
Have you ever root the device or try to install apps from untrusted source? Because from the error we got here (and I already visited the link, too), it seems like the Android OS on your phone is corrupted (probably not in the original state or something like that).
I don't know if you still need help, but I once got that error, and I deliberately tried to fiddle with the software. It happened when I tried to install Magisk, using the option "flash on slot b" or something like that, and when I rebooted it showed me that error. I was shocked thinking that I ****** up with my phone, but then I just turned it off (holding power buttton) and turned it back on. androidone logo showed itself, and I was relieved.
Above are the five ways I want to share with you. Each one of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. Just choose the one that suits you the best. However, comparatively speaking, Coolmuster Android Assistant is more useful, because it is suitable for almost any kind of Android phones, and it supports to transfer more types of files. This software is easy to install and use. If you want to transfer your contacts from Android to the computer, you can download it and have a try. I bet it will not let you down.
One important requirement is that you need to install an app on your phone called Link to Windows(Opens in a new window) from the Google Play Store and sign into the app with the same Microsoft account you're signed into on your PC. On certain phones, the app is preinstalled. No worries on the PC side of the connection, since the Phone Link app is preinstalled on all Windows 11 PCs.
With the latest update, Microsoft has simplified its phone-linking strategy. There's an app called Phone Link on your PC and another app called Link to Windows you install on your mobile device. Previously, Link to Windows only worked with select Samsung models and Surface Duo phones(Opens in a new window) (some Honor models were recently added for users in China). Those models still get more capabilities, like mirroring Android apps on the PC. Note this is different from the much-touted ability of Windows 11 to run Android apps, in which the apps actually run on the PC hardware.
One final introductory note about the Link to Windows system: You can install it on multiple PCs for the same phone, so if you move between a desktop and home and a laptop on the road, it'll work on both.
Let's say you got a little careless while installing apps from unknown sources, and now your Android device has been infected by malware. Or perhaps your friend has come to you for help after they had haphazardly installed random apps until their phone was filled with popups and garbage like that.
Regardless of how things got to this point, uninstalling malware can be a big ordeal. When a phone is loaded up with malware apps, the interface is incredibly laggy and slow, and in some instances, malware can even prevent you from accessing normal system menus. So to bypass all of these frustrations, I have a simple trick for you, which I'll go over in more detail below.
You may end up needing to perform a factory reset. But one thing you can try first is force-stopping the app from Settings -> Apps. Then, go to Settings -> Security -> Device Administrators. From there, try disabling the malware app's Device Administrator access, then quickly head to the Apps menu in Settings to uninstall it (before it runs again and spams for Device Admin). If the app won't let you disable Device Administrator access, you'll have to factory reset to remove it.
Google Services and Google Play are core Android apps, so they can't be installed. Basically, they're required for your phone to run. They're not malware, though, so you shouldn't have to worry about them.
This is the same thing that happened to me. Pretty sure this version was malware as everytime I unlocked my phone, it would take me to an ad popup or a google page of some sort. When I went to uninstall it, it was greyed out. This had me panicking. Thank you for throwing in that extra tidbit about the device administrator portion.
I've tried to reset my phone to factory data, and deleted everything that is on my SD card (now I have removed it for precaution). I went through the scanning and cleaning (Ccleaner had spotted caches containing ads but said to have deleted them), as well as the safe mode (nothing appears in the Downloaded apps, only the google play services), and I've even deactivated the Google Play Store to avoid the downloads. But the "Launcher loading" message keeps appearing and sometimes my screen shows the Localisation service too, very briefly.
Failing that, you might need to do a factory reset. If you can, back up important files to the cloud or transfer them to your computer with a USB cable, then you can manually trigger a factory reset by booting into recovery mode. The button combo for recovery mode is different for different phones. But for most, turn the phone off, then hold power and volume up. You'll see a little Android logo and a message that says "No Command." From there, press and hold power, then tap volume up.
Hi a newbie here, and did all you said to do now all mine seem to be dated when installed and nothing new. The widgets are still sending messages of my phone having virus / trojan/ etc needs to be cleaned. I bought a antivirus Total AV, however says it protects only address i gave when purchase so i removed my chrome but still receiving notifications of so called infections// CHROME was only new thing i install & kept anything else i removed due to room on my cell/ btw it's a lgl android
I too have an Android. I have a 2018 X4 and the CarPlay has completely reset itself 4 times since I have had the vehicle. Here recently, I have not been able to pair my phone to listen to music, use navigation, listen to the satellite radio or normal radio at all.
Factory reset is the restoration of an electronic device to its original state set by the manufacturer at the factory, also known as master reset or hard reset. What does a factory reset do? Doing so will delete all data, settings, and applications that the user has added on the device. When the phone needs to be sold and needs to wipe personal data or encounter equipment failures, virus attacks, software crashes, etc., restoring the factory settings is a good solution.
However, while this built-in function brings us convenience, it also brings some hidden dangers. If you give your phone to a child, he accidentally resets your phone to factory settings without backup, you may be the risk of data loss. Imagine what to do if you encounter this situation? Is it possible to recover data after factory reset?
Nowadays, people usually back up phone data with system backup function or cloud service, like Google. If you have a good habit to do regular backup or synchronization, it would comparatively easy to recover files after factory reset Android phone. 2ff7e9595c
